Details about JAAV Website

This is a community service project for a school called Janta Adarsh Andh Vidyalaya (JAAV). JAAV is a school for blind or visually impaired kids. Most of these kids come from low-income families struggling to meet their special needs. This school provides free education, boarding facilities, clothes, medical, and food. Private donations are the organization's primary source of funding. Unicode completes at least one project for community service each year. Last year, my team and I decided to support JAAV by building a website for them so that they could expand their reach and maximize the funds they receive. We created a website that was also mobile-friendly with a facility for making donations. There are several options for donating. Donations can be made directly or by covering medical, tuition, uniform, recreational or educational expenses. This website also contains web pages regarding "History of School," "Student List," "Hostel Details," and "Festivals and Functions throughout the Year" to provide contributors with some background on JAAV. An option to sponsor a child for a whole year is also provided. JAAV has been pleased with our work, claiming that since this new website's launch, monthly donations have increased by 10,000 rupees. As a developer, I'm incredibly grateful that my efforts are assisting someone in leading a better life.
